The list of musicians that Alain Johannes has worked with reads like an encyclopedia of California rock history. In high school, he was in bands with Flea, Hillel Slovak, Jack Irons, and Anthony Kiedis, all of whom would form the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Later Alain formed Eleven with Natasha Shneider and Jack Irons. He has toured and recorded with Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Queens of the Stone Age, collaborating alongside Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, and John Paul Jones. Alain's musical prowess extends to composing for films like "Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis" and video games such as "Ghost Recon Wildlands." Notably, he co-wrote and performed the acclaimed track "A Trick with No Sleeve" for the documentary "Sound City" and its soundtrack, alongside Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. Alain recently completed his third solo album, Hum, and formed the Alain Johannes Trio with Felo and Cote Foncea from Chile. Their debut release, "Luna A Sol," features guest vocals by Mike Patton. Anticipation builds for the forthcoming album, showcasing Alain's unmistakable talent and creative vision.
