Monkey doesn't show Pocket POD 1.01 flash update

Hello,

I'm a customer from Germany and bought a Pocket POD back in December, 2007.

Today I read about the 1.01 flash upgrade for my Pocket POD and downloaded the Monkey software v1.31.

I connect my Pocket POD to the power adaptor first and after this connect it to my PC with the Line 6 USB cable, no other cables are connected to the POD.

The POD works fine with the Vyzex v1.17 software, so I launched the Monkey (after closing the Vyzex software). It connects to my Line 6 Account but shows "There are no updates available" :-(

The Pocket POD is registered within my account and the Monkey doesn't show any message about device registration either.

The POD shows "Version 1.00" at startup...

Hi,

exactly the same problem here with the Pocket POD in Germany.

Tried both, Windows and MacOS but neither worked.

Your help is appreciated

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on my desktop and Mac OS X 10.6.2 on my Macbook.

Hi,

I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (Release-Version) with all latest updates on my Core 2 Duo E6750 2x 2.66GHz with 4GB RAM.

I could try it on Windows XP 32-bit this weekend on another machine.

Hello,

OK. The reason you are not seeing any updates in Monkey is because we are not officially supporting 7 or Snow Leopard yet and because of this, Monkey features are limited.

I think there may be a workaround for this in our Windows 7 Public Beta group so you may want to check out that group.

Hi Perry,

I've successfully updated my PocketPOD on a WinXP SP3 machine. Thanks for your information about Win7 and Snow Leopard support, I hope to see official support soon from you guys. By the way, I wasn't able to update my PocketPOD using XP Mode (found in Win7 Professional and Ultimate/Business). It quits with an unknown MIDI error. Hi, just a quick update:

I managed to update by using XP compatibility mode from within Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate about 2 weeks ago.

easy if u are running windows 7 just right click on line 6 monkey the properties - click on compatibility the click on the box run this program in compatibility mode for WINDOWS XP ( SERVICE PACK 3 )

you are ready to update your pocket pod enjoy
