UX1 MIC INPUT NOISE

Hello

My MIC entrance in my UX1 makes a lot of noise for itself, even if i have nothing plugged to it!!

Here are the printscreens (again, nothing plugged into MIC)... the noise is, as you can imagine, quite a lot, especially because the only way of hearing myself decenlty without licking the microfone is pushing up the gain up to almost 10dB.

0dB -http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/3525/micgain0db.jpg 7dB - http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4386/micgain7db.jpg8dB - http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/5582/micgain8db.jpg9dB - http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/1223/micgain9db.jpg10dB -http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4806/micgain10db.jpg

Please note the noise is independant from the setup i choose, it appears in the dry input as you can see. My guitar input works perfeclty, without any noise, wich makes this even stranger

RE: UX1 MIC INPUT NOISE

Hello,

Have you tried a different cable, microphone, or location to see if this changes anything?  You can also check the following documents for more recording information:

Please let us know if you need further assistance, or close out the ticket as “answered” if your situation has been resolved.

RE: UX1 MIC INPUT NOISE

Hi,

Based on your last reply, you indicate that you've tried it on different computers in different locations. Assuming you had the latest USB drivers and POD Farm 1.11 installed on all these different systems AND tried all USB ports only the get the same behavior with the UX1's MIC1 input (sans cable) getting the noise issue, your UX1 has a hardware issue internally.

Our new product warranty of UX1's are replacement within the first 90 Days of new purchase... in the country that the unit was purchased. If you bought this UX1 in Portugal and are still within the first 3 months of purchase, please contact:
