Hi,
here's another one that makes me wonder ![]()
I've purchased the Gear Box with the Tone Port DI Gold.
On my studio computer I've installed all the software offline without an internet connection. ( Pod Farm, Gear Box Software, Win 7 Beta drivers)
I'm using the Pod X3 live not the Tone Port Di Gold. Maybe that' the reason for the following problems ? :
When I try to load the Gear Box VST Plug in Cubase 5, I get the following message:
''Ready to activate. Line 6 Monkey will run to activate for you''.
When opening the monkey software the Gear Box PlugIn doesn't show up at all ?!
What is the trick to activate it ? Must I plug my Tone Port into the PC or can I use the VST PlugIn with Pod X3 Live ?
By the way, the Pod Farm VST Plug works for Cubase with the Pod X3 live.
The Gear Box Standalone Application also works with my Pod X3 live.
I've read that the Pod Farm standalone application doesn't run with the Pod X3 live only with the Tone Port.
That's all a bit confusing for me ![]()

if you wish using the GearBox Plugin instead of the PodFarm Plugin activated in your X3L, you need plugging your DI Gold to your PC, as this is the physical dongle for it
you're free to set the X3L or the DI Gold to use as audio interface in Cubase
you're right : the PodFarm Standalone editor is not Pod X3/XT compatible: GearBox Standalone is and remains the editor for these

Thank you very much for your answer. Now everything seems to be clear ![]()
