Problem with Media player/BackTrack

Hi guys,

Got my Backtrack few days ago, brill! Windows media player wont play recorded material either directly from the unit or downloaded to the player it's self. It says its playing it but it just freezes. Play back on the BackTrack unit works fine just not with the computer.

Help

Cheers

Re: Problem with Media player/BackTrack

Make sure the media formats you're using/recording on the BackTrack / Media Player are compatible.

The BackTrack user manual says:

BackTrack can play properly formatted mono or stereo .WAV files that are:
• 16 or 24 bit word length
• 11, 22, 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz sample rate

I suggest setting your BackTrack format to 16 bit, 44.1kHz which I believe is standard CD-audio format. Media player should handle this.

RE: Problem with Media player/BackTrack

deadwood,

The files from the backtrack are just .wav  files that media player should be compatible with.  You should not be able to play the files directly from the hardware through media player though.  You would need to remove the files from the backtrack onto a location on your computer.  Then, in media player, select the .wav files to be played.

If the problem persists, try playing the audio .wav files in another program or computer.

Please let me know if this helps you.

  Regards,
