Does the POD XT Live provide power for a Variax

Does the POD XT Live provide power for a Variax connected to the Input 1/4" jack?

It would make a lot of sense if it did - especially as there is a Variax computer connector supplied.

Cheers

No, it provides it through the VDI port - you need a VDI cable. Once you have that audio also goes down that cable so you only need one lead.

RE: Does the POD XT Live provide power for a Variax

Hello,

AS mentioned by Mr_Arkadin, the 1/4" input of the POD XTL will not power the Variax. You'll need to use the digital connection from the Variax to the POD in order for the POD to power the guitar.
