pod farm

Hi,

 

     I've just purchased  a POD X3 PRO on the box it says INCLUDE POD FARM PLUGIN. I've downloaded pod farm and when i star it it says at the bottom of the screen NO AUTHORIZED DIVECE CONNECTED. POD FARM CANNOT PROCESS AUDIO. When i log onto the site to download the plugin (buy it now option) i select my device and bring me to a page where it says the following

 

Sorry, nothing available for POD X3 Pro.

Your selected device is either not compatible with anything in this category, or already includes everything in this category.

What am i not getting here?

I'm assuming you have but you didn't say.  Have you registered your X3 Pro?

So, assuming you have loaded all the X3 drivers and have your X3 plugged into your computer via USB and it is on.  Are you trying to use it as a standalone program or in a DAW/Recording program as a plugin.  I believe, as is the case with my X3 live, it is only available as a plugin and not as a standalone program.

The standalone editor/GUI for the X3 is Gearbox. You can use Monkey to help download/install it.

 

Pod Farm only works with the X3 as a plugin to a DAW (your recording program).

thanks guy's i got gearbox and works fine now however i do not see the guitar tuner button a the top right corner anyone know why?

Nope - don't know why, but it's nothing wrong with your setup. My Gearbox doesn't show a tuner either. I use the X3 itself to activate the tuner.

I looked at the x3 but cannot find how to activete the tuner on it

On the X3 Pro, press and hold the TAP button for 2 seconds to activate the tuner. Press it again to leave the tuner. The TAP button is in the top row of keypad buttons.
