Hello Line 6'ers,
Please make sure to back up all important system files before downloading and installing any beta drivers! I've left some very helpful links below that outline the proper steps to backup your system.
Windows XP

Windows Vista

I am very disapointed by Line6 on this. Today I bought a $2400 HP Workstation with Windows 7 on it. Just found out that Line 6 does not support this operating system. My question is: WHEN (and don't say: 'soon') can we expect reliable working L6 W7 drivers?
If you guys have still some rock 'n' roll balls you answer this question. WHEN? Hello, it's 2010!!!
Guys...install Monkey, the Drivers, and Gear Box/POD Farm via right clicking on the files and choosing compatibility mode. Use Windows XP SP3. It will work 100% without any issues that way (never had a freeze up or crash ever)! The only thing that it does work on, and I am royally pi$$ed about, is Line 6 Edit! It does not recognize the Windows 7 Java installation so I have no way to program and rearrange my Pod XT Live effect banks! I am jamming tomorrow and I am now SCREWED!
What really upsets me is the lack of Line 6 moderators coming in and ATLEAST letting us know what the status is on the new drivers! Are they working on them, did they just say screw it, are they sorry? Is this how loyal paying customers should be treated? Come on Line 6...throw us a bone here so we know what is up. You will have a lot more respect if you do.
hey all u peeps im new inthe 6 world left digitech for this, feel like im in an aa meeting, but any how so if i am reading correctly u cant even get an upgrade or anything with w7 due to the usb problems and then sacrafice downloading bogus drivers on unit i spent 600.00 dollars for u have to be kidding digitech stuff doesnt even do this
Drivers are running fine on my system, just need to do two things: Disable USB selective suspend setting and run Line 6 monkey on compatibility mode (XP or Vista, both works).
Posting a few public links is a poor substitute for the lack of drivers. Tomorrow morning it will be 2010 and still no drivers. Even Digidesign managed to get a Windows 7 update for Pro Tools and if you're behind Digidesign that's a pretty sad place to be.
