Toneport Line6 ux2 connecting problems (Freeze/ask to restart)

I plug in the usb cable when I`m told to do so. Then the screen turns grey, and my imac tells me to restart the computer!? how to solve this?

PodXT Live and POD Farm

I have a PodXT Live. If I purchase the POD Farm upgrade for my unit ($49), this should provide me with some bass amp models and cabs (5 each I believe). My question is: are these new bass amp models available to me when I am not hooked up to the computer and Pod Farm? While I may indeed use PodFarm from time to time for recording with Riffworks, etc, I am looking at this as a means to get a few bass amp models on my Pod XT Live without having to spend $99 for the bass expansion pack.

In short: I want to be able to use the bass amp models provided via the Pod Farm upgrade in a live situation, without any link to Pod Farm.

Thoughts?

Used Toneport Ux1 Required Software?

I will be recieveing a used toneport ux1 soon and would like to know what drivers and software should be installed first,here is a list of software programs i have downloaded:line 6 monkey ver.1.31,drivers ver.3.4.3.8,pod farm ver.1.11,riffworks 2 ver.2.22,gearbox ver.3.70,if there is any additional software i can download that will work with the toneport ux1 please let me know?thanks in advance.

TonePort DI-S No Sound

I just received my TonePort DI-S from my GuitarPort bundle. I installed all of the software. I have the TonePort plugged in. I have a green light. I have re-installed drives more than once. I have restarted the computer more than once. I have switched USB port, computer front panel not a hub. I have all of the up to date Drivers, USB, Gear Box, etc.

I am getting no sound through my computer speakers from the Guitar. I see needles moving on Gear Box. I have twisted knobs, pushed buttons, tried combinations of things. I can hear the video tutorials played from the embedded browser at the bottom of gear box just fine.

I know there is something super simple that I am not seeing here. Why can't I hear my guitar played through my PC speakers?

I bought a freakin pod farm, and it demanded an ilok, then I bought an ilok and it would not work with reaper, I am ****** off! How much crap do I need to go through to get this piece of **** pod farm working on my computer????????

Toneport UX2 Analogue out jacks

Hi guys, am i right in thinking that i should be able to hear my audio from analogue out 1 and 2 the same as i can hear it from the headphone jack? Its just that when i plug my headphones into analogue out 1 or 2 i get a quiet almost muffled sound from my guitar and any tracks that are on the player, but when i use the headphone jack its really loud and clear.

my headset has a 3.5mm jack which i have an adaptor for to make it the right size and i know you can get stereo and mono versions of these adaptors. Could the problem be that im using the wrong one, even tho it works fine for the headphone jack, or is there a setting i have missed which might fix this? I really wanted to have 2 sets of headphones coming out of my UX2 at the same time.

I have installed all disc,s (pod farm ver. 1 livelite7, riffworks, reason adapted) i have completed all product activates, and updates apart for pod farm 1.00 to 1.11, this has failed in spite of 3 attempts, i have sound through the headphone socket on the pod and also from the pod via my amp. But have yet to find any way of recording to my computer.

Can you help me with simple instruction on how to check my installation, i do not want to use the pod as my normal sound card.

Volume through Pod Farm

Long story short i just did all the upgrades need for the past year i was having volume issues with gear box then i did the podfarm downlaod...now i am getting volume through the pod farm but low volumes unless i turn my gain up...is ther a way to run a simple clean bass tone and still be able to hear it
