Whenever they rolled out the newer footswitch design, it seemed like well over a year that people were still getting the older units. Someone actually got the date code info on the footswitches and posted it on the old forum. Maybe if you call Line6 they will give you the info on how to tell by looking at the serial number, if they do be sure and post that info as it would surely help a lot of people avoid the defective units out there. Either way, they will fix it under warranty but it sure stinks having to send a brand new unit in for repair.

Our manufacturer's warranty covers all units within one year from the original date of purchase. If you bought the POD used then it most likely is not under warranty although you should double check with the original seller.

You can purchase the correct power supply for your country's voltage from our Australian distributor.

- How is the setup for the ouputs ???

- You connect the POD to the input of the AMP or in the loop Effect ???

- Did you tried the 4 cable method ??? is the best option for you ...

+1 to Silverhead's suggestion

However, if you would just like to use the effects of the X3, you will need to turn off any amp models and select no Cabinet, then save the presets with the effect models you would like to use in your setup. You would need to do this for every patch that you plan on using in this manner.
